Because sometimes I have jobs that do not give you enough scrap wire to validate getting something more expensive. The only thing I would recommend is making sure you have a drill with higher torque. Even if you go with a cheap hammer drill from harbor freight or even desertcart. But something I can handle heavy duty work. It does have a handle you can operate it with which isn't too bad.
