Hearing him suck on a spit laided blanket is about the grossest thing I have ever encountered in my life. He also is one of those children who will talk constantly and says whatever comes into his head. Constructive or (more likely) not. When he has it on, he chews constantly and the noises that thing can make are not pleasant either but it is better than what he was doing. It has been saving his clothing as well as his stuffed animals he also loves to chew. With permission from his teacher he has been allowed to take it to school. He did get made fun of a bit but he has also gotten in less trouble at school. As a matter of fact he forgot it today and got in trouble for chewing up a pencil. For reference he is seven and has not destroyed one yet with all his teeth in tact. I really liked these when I bought them, and he as used them, but we have had them for less than a month and he has chewed through them. I bought these because they are recommended for adults and children 8 years and older, so I thought they would be a little tougher and last longer than those made for younger children.
