I power the strips externally to the controller, so can't comment on that, but the patterns are decent and the app isn't terrible.There was an unusual flash/glitch every so often, but it wasn't a big deal given the cost of the unit.Unit remembered the selected flash after being powered down at night, which was an unexpected surprise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Some very cool lighting option in the app.Hit and miss on connectivity *by T***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 April 2020* The app is pretty good with a wide range of ways to choose your lighting preference. I have found the network connectivity a bit hit and miss. I also was sure I saw online that these worked with google assistant but that is not correct. I think that feature would be great for these!To get around the fact that I am unable to voice control these I have hooked the power to a sonoff switch. I can now turn them on and off via google with that.Was very simple to wire my WS2813 strip to this as well.Please note, the device pictured did not match the one i got... From my understanding the case with rounded corners is the first version.
