The 2.1mm x 5.5mm dc jack and plug allow power to be sent on the CAT-5 and split out again at the remote end. 
 
 It is suitable for using with products that basically do not support Power Over Ethernet. Passive Power Over Ethernet SET is applicable for wide range of network products such as Access Points, Routers, IP cameras, modems, switches, embedded computers or other network devices. Passive Power over Ethernet SET is compatible with most devices available on the market such as D-Link, Linksys, Airlive, Senao, Wline, Micronet, Edimax etc. 
 
 Female RJ45 connector to 2.1mm x 5.5mm female jack 
 Female RJ45 connector to 2.1mm x 5.5mm power plug 
 Quantity:2 Kit = (2) Injectors + (2) Splitters 
 Injector: RJ45 Male + Power In to RJ45 Female 
 Splitter: RJ45 Female to RJ45 Male + Power Out 
 Passive PoE - means that input and output voltage are equal. 
 Works with all DC powered non-PoE devices 
 Supports 5V, 12V, 24V, 48V 
 Power supply required for power input - simply use the power supply (wall transformer) that is provided with the device you are trying to power. 
 Uses industry standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm power plugs 
 Can work up to 150ft (depending on the quality of the cable and the power draw of the device)
