I had bought it months ago, and it sat in my attic, waiting for me to get all the speakers out to wire it all up. I did so, and not one, but TWO of the speaker wire fittings (where you put the wire in -ie: Positive and Negative- at the back ) snapped. Really cheap materials. This was not under undue pressure. So, that made one of the six selectors useless. So, top marks for good looks on the front, but super cheap, easily breakable wire clips on the back. I see that other reviews mentioned this. I have a dual zone home theater receiver (Denon AVR-X1300W) and connected this speaker selector switch to the 2nd zone inputs. Then I had speakers from each room in the house connected to the 6 zones on the speaker selector switch. I used 14 gauge wire for all connections.This makes it easy to power all of the speakers from one receiver and to turn individual zones off and on.
