This USB charging cables works perfectly with my Roku 2 and actually works better than the regular power cord. I mounted my Roku on the wall behind the tv (IR receiver poking out a bit) with 3M stickies and plugged the cord into the USB slot in my tv. Cord is hidden behind the tv, so no additional cable management is required. Original power cord was not very long and we had mount the Roku visibly on the wall under the tv as the cord wasn't long enough and our tv is wall mounted. If your tv doesn't have a USB slot or it's being used by something else, any USB socket adapter will work. Quality of the cord seems to be very good; only time will tell though. So far, I love it and would definitely recommend as a replacement for any Roku it will fit instead of a regular power cord. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Simple but great product *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2016* I have one of these cables on each of two Roku 2's in my house. The Roku will not power off under normal use, it will only go into a sleep mode. I like that if I'm not watching TV for extended periods, the whole system is off and the Roku cools down. Takes a few seconds to power up each time (like 10 or 20 seconds), but not a big deal for me. Best of all, though, I really like not having to run another electrical cord to an outlet - this little 3' cord stays contained completely behind the TV, out of sight, out of mind.I should add, I've read some other reviews stating that it won't work with some TVs, esp older TVs.
