I bought a pair 25 years ago and have just now replaced them. I love the new pair even more than the old pair and here’s why.1. My feet are wide in the front and I have bunions and these fit and are comfortable.2. This does not mean if your feet are normal or narrow without bunions that they would not work for you.3. If you have a narrow foot they may be too wide but normal width feet these shoes should fit well.4. If I didn’t have bunions I would have gotten a size 6 instead of 7 or whatever the Euro size chart is in comparison.5. I usually wear a 7 1/2 in shoes and an 8 in boots but again that is because my foot is wide and the bunion factor.6. I feel chic when I wear these shoes and they are stylish and go with pants, skirts, dresses, and jeans, and shorts! A real winner in my wardrobe.I hope the explanation on size is helpful. I look for details in sizing in reviews especially when ordering shoes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Sandal, But Wide *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2019* I love this shoe because, like all Arche shoes and boots, it's beautifully made and designed. I ordered black nubuck which is very soft and flexible. The heel height is also a little higher than the Arche flats, about an inch, while flats are maybe 1/4 inch. The sizing, however, was a problem for me. I wear 8.5, making whole european sizes a little difficult to work with. Generally, I try for a 39 in Naot shoes in styles that run large. In Arche shoes and boots, I wear a 40 in flats and boots, but the Drick sandal runs large, both long and very wide. The 39 which reviews advised would be a good fit for 8.5 size, is ok in length; however, it is very wide, especially in the mid part of the shoe. I'm not sure this will work for me, and I may need to return. One other positive feature about this shoe is that the way that the front is cut, not much of the toes are exposed - - this makes the shoe both casual and a little dressier than some very open "comfort" sandals. Since it's partially closed, the shoe also looks very seasonal and appropriate for fall weather in warm climates. A really nice shoe if it fits. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arche makes the most comfortable shoes ever *by F***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2015* Arche makes the most comfortable shoes ever. I have been having issues with my feet for the past year, then I heard about these shoes. I finally got a pair, then quickly bought two more pairs. This is the third pair. Seriously comfortable. Like walking on clouds. I don't wear any other shoes now. Will be quite an expensive habit, but well worth it. My feet are doing so much better these days. I used to only be able to handle walking for an hour or two tops. But now I am walking around NYC all day with no pain. Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
