The Mtech Xtreme Two-Tone is a tactical knife with its 3 ¾ “ 440 stainless steel 2-tone black and grey serrated drop-point blade attached to the 4 ¾ “ black and grey textured aluminum handles with extra jimping. When the knife is in the closed position, the blade is held in place by means of torsion springs; as the user applies manual pressure to the flipper to open the knife, mechanisms such as the torsion spring moves along a track in the liner and rapidly rotates the blade into the open and locked position. Features built-in quick open flipper, pocket clip, 2 lanyard holes, textured jimping and 2-tone color. Review: Blade not locking in place - I previously purchased a few of these before and they work great for what I use them for which is opening boxes for the most part. I recently purchased 4 more but none of the blades lock in place when you open it. All the previous ones lock in place but this recent purchase isn't the same. The blade lock is there but apparently poor design doesn't let the blade clear the locking mechanism so it doesn't lock. Pretty dangerous if the blade folds back onto your fingers while you're using it. Had to return. Review: Five Stars - I don't feel like writing so.
