I wake up at 6am for work and at that hour, the bedroom closet in my new apartment is pitch black. In order to not disturb my SO, I was resorting to having to use the flashlight on my phone to see any of my clothes.This is going to make my life so much easier. I tested the motion detection on this a few times and it works very well; I love that I won't need to fiddle with a switch. If your closet is a black hole like mine was, get this now. You won't regret it!Just a note - don't try to use the adhesive to stick it onto a wall or shelf, it will fall down every time. Turns out that the magnetic side is waaaaay better for this. I was about to leave a one star review after the 5th time it fell down, but then I realized that you can reverse the sticky 3M side and use the magnetic side facing out instead. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lights Up the Stairs *by F***S on December 30, 2019* I got this to put in my stairwell for my early morning wake up calls. I get up before my wife pretty regularly and our hall light shines right in the bedroom door. I stuck this at the top of the stairs and now I can just walk up and have the light that I need that doesn't wake her up.The light is very bright for it's size and the batteries seem to last a while even with my cats turning it on inadvertently during the night. The motion sensor seems to work pretty well and activates when either myself or my cats walk by. Installation is a magnetic sticker that will damage the wall when I eventually have to take it down, but the magnet makes it easy and damage free to take it down and change batteries. I will say the battery cover is a bit of a pain, but the batteries last long enough that I don't have to deal with it frequently.Overall, a fine choice for a wireless motion light. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for basement stairs *by G***N on November 1, 2019* This light is great for illuminating our basement stairs. We recently finished our basement and have lights at the bottom, but not near the top of the stairs. The cover took a little time to come off but after adding the 4 AAA batteries, we were good to go. I love simple fixes to modern problems that don't require adding an additional light and don't require me to call an electrician. We set it to 'auto' and it only comes on when it detects motion.
