I saw some people selling them for $1200. **Q: item for child my soon ?** A: The Intel Core i9-10900X Desktop Processor is for use by a Computer Technician experienced in custom building desktop computers. However, that being said, home users with excellent hardware abilities can also install this CPU in a motherboard without issue. **Q: Will this fit a lga 1200 socket?** A: NO! It will NOT fit a LGA 1200 socket. The Intel Core i9-10900X requires a LGA 2066 socket. More pins for more PCIe lanes. **Q: Is there a way to know if the i9 10900x is unlocked?** A: All "X" and "K" Intel CPUs are unlocked. In order to overclock the CPU the motherboard must also support overclocking as some boards are compatible but don't support over locking. I haven't run into any X299 chipset boards that don't support overclocking. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent X series processor and supports up to 256gb Ram! *by E***S on 27 August 2023* This processor has an outstanding performance and the nicest feature in my opinion is that it supports up to 256gb ram! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money *by C***3 on 23 September 2020* super fast delivery, excellent product, as described, will buy again ### ⭐ Crushed Packaging, disappointing service (so far). *by S***E on 25 November 2020* Pretty good service from a speedy delivery point of view. However, that's where the good news ends. The quality of the packaging for a fragile Intel processor was an epic fail. The outer box was fairly tatty to start with and not up to the task of protecting fragile computer components never mind and I9 10 core beast, the inner box the processor comes in was crushed, please refer to the image. This parcel must've been put together by the Leeeeeeeeeroy Jennkins of the processor packaging world in other words, someone who doesn't probably know the value of these parts and maybe even doesn't care. The only saving grace is the plastic outer which the processor is sat in wasn't damaged. I'll not get chance to build the new rig with the new processor in until late December because I'm waiting on all the parts to be shipped out, so I won't be able to tell if it's serviceable or a defect, (due to damage caused by the substandard quality of the packaging put together by the aforementioned raid wiping hero).
