Cannot open to find any cartridge !** A: Update: I opened end of pen ,pulled out the cartridge. One end of the cartridge (sponge type) which feeds the tip of the pen has a hole in it. I think that all you have to do is to use a syringe to fill the sponge with water based ink. Reinsert into the pen housing ,hole end first. Hope this helps. **Q: Are these any good for Hiragana and Kanji Calligraphy?** A: Yes they are **Q: Question for seller - How do you fill these pens and what ink do I use?** A: They have ink already and do not need refills **Q: Can these be used on painted surfaces?
