Over 700 yards of consistently fine line, bright color and unvarying ink flow. Review: My favorite pen - I love these pens. Write like ink but dry immediately. A thin line not smeary like some ball points. Review: A nice pen but with a big shortcoming - I've used this pen for typical writing and note-taking. First of all, I wrote exclusively with the Sharpie fine felt-tip pen for years, but I grew tired of the expense and the annoying graphic on the tube rubbing off in a sweaty writing hand. So I was on the market for a good, new, felt-tip workhorse when I came across this. The immediate benefits: -Very attractive minimalist design. The cap tapers; you can un- and re-cap in one fell swoop. And the clip on the cap is very strong. -You feel good about the price. -All-plastic body, no paint. Very durable. -Smooth line, easy on the wrist. -The cap can be left off for a whole day without drying out. All very exciting. But there are drawbacks: -Just a little less precise than the Sharpie. -It bleeds more too if you don't write quickly. -Worst of all (what prompted me to review the pen)--after the ink has dried and set in the page for about a week, the color degrades from a sharp black to a dingy dark green. Seriously. For those of you who understand, this is a problem. It's harder on the eyes and certainly more off-putting than a nice crisp black. And from the other side of the page, when held up to the light, it's really almost forest green. I'm using a heavy-weight Rhodia pad, not some cheapo wide-ruled filler. The bottom line: you get what you pay for. The pen does its job. It is a pleasure to write with and a pleasure in your breast pocket. The line sharpness is decent, but the ink is of a lower quality. I have trouble understanding some of the graphic designers' positive reviews, given that I've got a couple substantial gripes about its performance as a simple writing pen.
