Until he mastered this, we placed pillows around the sides just in case he took a spill while getting out - but he never did! The tower went together very easily and it is heavy enough to hold up well, while still being light enough to move from place to place without difficulty. She stands in it while I cook or clean and feels a part of the action. I would have given it 5 stars except for the following: 1)It is a pretty big piece of furniture and heavy.
