The jacket is warm. I've ridding my scooter in the rain and on cold days and felt great. The fabric is thinner than the military ones. One of my pocket buttons doesn't snap properly and comes open on its own. My biggest complaint is the placement of the left arm pocket. I feel that it is not sewn in the correct spot. When I wear this jacket the pocket and zipper are practically up against my left chest, because the pocket is directly above my bicep. I've owned military surplus flight jackets before and the arm pocket was clear out on the outside of my arm where the shoulder, triceps and biceps meet.
