Nox said it could not be fixed like I had to fix a few times on the original model. Model 1 had screws on the back and you could take off the back to access the fiber cables and replace them. Wife is an ultra runner and uses this daily when running in the dark. Always broke just coming out of the case where it bends to go over your shoulder. Model 2 is water proof/resistant and has no screws on yhe back. There is a way to open this Model. I took the back off to gain access to the torx screws holding in the fiber.
