Review: Nice kit that is useful onsite. - Really useful bit of kit to verify which cable goes where. I had to install cables into our new office and rather neglected to label each one. This bit of kit made it a doddle once I terminated in the faceplates to then traced to the patch panel so I could get them in the right order

**Q: Can i use this to trace a single core cable**
A: yes but not if its carrying any voltage,must be disconnected from fuse board

**Q: Can I use this for mains cables, 1.0mm twin and earth for example?**
A: Yes, as long as the cable isn’t energised

**Q: What is the range of these probe to find the wires?**
A: I’ve tried it on 300meter and it works

**Q: Just wondering, does anyone know how well this compares to greenlee 701k-g tone and probe kit?**
A: This is one of the best I've used. Had a fluke and a couple of amazon specials, but this is definitely the most rugged and has a longer tip to get into harder to reach places.plus the torch on the probe is very handy!
