You can tell this company is very professional just by this first impression.Second, the whiskey diamonds are of exceptional quality and incredible design. Their shape is unique (unlike the generic and boring cube shape).Third, the functionality of the stones is perfect. They kept my drink cold, without diluting the flavor. (Also the diamonds were odorless and tasteless, which is a big plus). They stay cold a long time. They in no way water-down my Scotch. They are a bit bigger than I expected, but are smaller than your average cube of ice.They also look a bit like Dungeons & Dragon's dice. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. I guess if you're offended by Dungeons and Dragons then maybe you'll want to find differently shaped whisky stones. But if you're like me, and completely indifferent to D&D, then it probably isn't even worth mentioning. The stones add a nice appearance to my drink and their cooling effect is some what limited but still quite good. They don't work near as good as ice but then again ice dilutes the drink so it's a bit of a trade off. I generally find myself adding 5 or 6 of the stones to my drink to keep it cold.
