Please explain "PET" membrane. Thank you.** A: Unable to answer your exact question. To me it is like super duty Saran wrap. Some sellers may have superior to others (?) My experience with the display holders is that you need to have a holder that is close to the display item so that it is rigid enough to hold that particular display item. Silver dollars are heavy and relatively thin and they did not stay in position but slipped down. However, they hold badges well but make sure about "exact" size so the plastic case has room to snap together. If there is a little bit of play in the "Pet" membrane you can tighten it with a hair dryer. They are inexpensive so I would order a couple of different sizes and see if they work for you.
