They are soft, thick and comfortable. They wick away moisture before I even know I have a leak. These pads are thick and contoured, but do not show through an unlined bra. I like that they are thick enough that I can wear then with an unlined bra (unlined bras are my favorite for nursing so I wear them often) with the knowledge that my nipples aren't going to be showing through my clothes.They are very soft so pulling them out from my bra with tender nipples does not cause any more discomfort.I have tried the Up & Up brand which I was not impressed with. The Avent breast pads feel much more durable and pull away and hold any leaked milk much better. I was not able to use the Up & Up breast pads over night while we transitioned from 1 to 0 night feedings, the pads got big and bulky and were uncomfortable by morning. The Avent pads I can wear through the night without fear of them not doing to job. They hold every drop I leak and don't let me feel it at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for me! *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2012* I've used the Lansinoh, Medela, and AVENT nursing pads (as well as reusable cloth pads). I prefer to use disposable pads for work because they're less visible and are more reliable against soaking through. (While at home I always use reusable pads) I know some people complained about the thickness of these pads, but as backward as it sounds, I find that they show less because they're thicker. My issue with the Lansinoh pads is that they're so thin they bunch up really easily after just one nursing/pumping session. I can never get them to lay flat again - and who has time to mess around with that anyway? The AVENT pads hold their shape really well, don't show any more than any other pads I have (I have yet to find a pad that doesn't show at all), and are just as absorbent and comfortable. I'm sticking with these for my go-to disposable pads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go-to breast pads *by A***H on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2013* These are my favorite breast pads, by far. I leak quite a bit of milk and have tried a number of pads since my daughter was born. These are sturdy, absorbent and comfortable to wear. I change them quite regularly so they don't often leak - I have only had them leak once or twice at night now that my daughter is sleeping much longer stretches. (You can buy thicker 'nighttime' versions.) Even so they still hold a lot of moisture. These are individually packaged so you can throw them in a bag and not worry about them getting dirty. You can also change one at a time that way (vs. opening a packaged pair for one pad.) I tried Tommy Tippee pads and they were flimsier and in my opinion, less absorbant. I tried Johnson and Johnson pads in a pinch and they were terrible - they were really rounded (concave) and small so you had to get the in the exact right place and hope they didn't move around. The Avent pads are just gently curved so they don't need to be spot on the middle of the breast. The Lansinoh breast pads aren't bad either, but I still think Avent are more aborbent.
