The shampoo and conditioner left my short hair dry and tangled and the shedding accelerated. My hair is so thin now that I don't leave the house without a wig. I talked to my hair stylist and she advised me to make sure to never use shampoo that contains sulfates because these are tough detergents that are great for cleaning your floor but damage your hair. Sulfates make hair shed, make hair come in finer and weaker, and retard the growth of any new hairs plus they dry out the hair and generally damage it. I noticed the bottles of Folligen products do not have an ingredient list so I searched on the internet to find ingredient lists for these products. I was shocked to find that Folligen Shampoo contains sulfates. HOW IS IT THAT A SHAMPOO THAT IS SUPPOSED TO TREAT THINNING HAIR CONTAINS SULFATES -- THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF THINNING HAIR? I immediately stopped using all three products and bought Loreal EverStrong Sulfate Free Fortify Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum. The shedding has stopped and now I lose less than 10 hairs per day. I massage my hair with tea tree oil and peppermint oil mixed with grape seed oil each morning before my shower and every evening I use women's Rogaine foam. Once a week I derma roll my scalp before applying the Rogaine. I will be ordering some Rosemary oil to add to my morning massage since it has been shown to promote hair growth. My hair is softer and more manageable since I stopped using Folligen. If I could I would give this product zero stars, but that isn't an option. I try not to think about the money I wasted on Folligen. I am thankful that Loreal created EverStrong Sulfate Free products - gentle, botanical and vegan!!! Thank you Loreal for making great hair products that are so affordable!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Colouring *by A***N on July 25, 2010* It is hard to deliver my opinion about folligen for the benefit on hair loss without using for a length of time, but I can say that it is diffucult to use folligen, since my grey hair was turned yellowish tint after using it, and I can not remove this yellowish tint from my hair nor by lemon juice, or by bleach. Therefore, I am not considering to use this product any more. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not sure *by T***L on August 13, 2013* Still using this product, not sure if it is making a difference or not yet.
