This blanket worked great! The clips held it in place perfectly. The blanket is super soft. When we were done we shook it out, rolled it up and put it back in the carry bag. The carry bag is great when hauling all the beach stuff. When I got home I shook it out again, and yes there was still sand stuck on it, but that should be expected; sand sticks to everything. I then washed and dried. Came out perfect! This was a great buy! The sand was slightly damp from a morning rain-- this blanket just absorbed the water and held onto it the remainder of the day! It was so heavy when we rolled it off of the ground, I ended up carrying it and throwing it in the washer at the rental place because I thought it would never dry out by the next day! It did seem to do better on dryer sand the next day, but even when the kids sit down with a wet bathing suit, the blanket just retains the moisture.
