(I wanted something that wouldn't add a lot of weight to the pack.) I must admit when I opened it up I was thinking there's no way this could keep anyone warm as it's so light and remarkably fits into its very small included storage bag, but I think and hope it will prove me wrong. I purchased it for an upcoming Febuary (Brrrr!) 20 mile hiking and camping trip for my citified husband who ran an extension cord to the tent in the yard so he could watch tv the one time I talked him into sleeping outside. While I choked on the price, I was willing to pay more for a bag made in the US and if it proves true to the reviews and keeps him warm it will be totally worth it as my camping future depends on it. If he doesn't have a pleasant experience I'll never get to go again. Y'all pray he has a good time and I'll update when he gets back. Oh, I forgot to add that the seller threw in a free unexpected Western Mountaineering (I guess) laundry bag? It's extremely comfortable. The bag is quilted so the down does not move around at night. A roomy bag which allows the wearing of a down jacket at night if I need to use the bag in temperatures below 35 F. 95% down, made in USA, YKK zipper, what more could one ask for? The Rolls-Royce of sleeping bags. I have had this bag for two years after using Marmot bags and this is the highest quality and most versatile bag I have ever owned.
