Review: Reliable PLA with consistent prints and no tangles - I’ve been using this SUNLU PLA filament on my 3D printer and overall it’s been very consistent and reliable. The spool came neatly wound, and importantly, I haven’t run into any tangles at all during use. That alone makes it less stressful than some cheaper filaments where you’re constantly watching for feed issues. Print quality has been solid across multiple prints. Layer adhesion has been dependable on standard PLA settings, and I didn’t need to make many slicer adjustments compared to other brands I’ve used. It just works without much tuning, which is nice for everyday printing. The black color is deep and consistent throughout prints, with no noticeable fading or patchiness. Surface finish comes out clean as long as your settings are dialed in properly.

**Q: What temperature should I print this 3D printer filament at?**
A: For the Sunlu grey PLA 1.75mm (not silk) filament I am having very good results with 200 degrees Celsius hot end and a 60 degree bed. I use the Ender 3 with the Ender 3 tempered glass bed, and once the bed cools, it pops right off, no need for a scraper if you are patient enough to let it cool, which makes it so you don't need to re-level the bed as often (which I still do manually).

**Q: I have a 3D pen.   Will this Filament work in it?**
A: As long as your pen hold 1.75mm filament it should.  PLA used a lower heat then ABS.  you may want to check your manual to see the heal settings.

**Q: Is this filament recyclable?**
A: All PLA is recyclable

**Q: Has anyone tried this brand with a zortrax 3d printer? i have the m200.**
A: I have used this brand with an ANET A8 printer with no problems.  The white PLA gave me excellent results.

I’ve been using this SUNLU PLA filament on my 3D printer and overall it’s been very consistent and reliable. The spool came neatly wound, and importantly, I haven’t run into any tangles at all during use. That alone makes it less stressful than some cheaper filaments where you’re constantly watching for feed issues. Print quality has been solid across multiple prints. Layer adhesion has been dependable on standard PLA settings, and I didn’t need to make many slicer adjustments compared to other brands I’ve used. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flawless AMS Feeding & Clean Prints – Sunlu Black PLA Delivers Every Time

This has been a great experience so far. I’ve been running Sunlu Black PLA on my Bambu Lab P2S with the AMS2 Pro, and it feeds flawlessly through the AMS without any issues. The spool arrived tightly vacuum sealed, and through the first half of the roll I haven’t encountered a single tangle. Print performance has been equally solid. Bed adhesion is excellent on both a smooth PEO plate and a textured PEI plate—no lifting or inconsistencies. Layer adhesion is strong, and the finished prints have a clean, consistent surface with a really nice overall finish. I’ve be included a time-lapse and a couple of photos of a paper towel holder I printed with this filament. It turned out exactly how I hoped—clean lines, solid structure, and a great final appearance. I haven’t finished the full spool yet, but based on the first half, this is a very dependable PLA that performs exactly as expected. If consistency, ease of use, and solid print quality matter to you, this is an easy recommendation. I’d absolutely buy this again.
