I replaced this on a 2008 Honda Civic's A/C evap core, just to have the entire installation brand new (I replaced all other components, too). Not my first rodeo, BTW... I'm not convinced this particular valve is engineered at its best (it's decent, it does its job, but could be better) - I found that the factory original valve performed a little better... but didn't feel like disassembling the whole thing, just to re-assemble and re-charge...
