I choose the flat cable because it worked best for setting up a line from my router to my room, which involved maneuvering on a wall and under a door, the cable proved perfect for it, the cable mounts were essential in this process, not the sturdiest but definitely help.Durability: the cable is very much out of the way, and so i assume it should be fine.
