I had to drill holes and use mounting hardware from a cheapo gub saddle mount that I had laying around. I also used spare nuts and bolts. The aluminum mounting bracket seemed pretty solid so I made it work. I hope minoura sees this because they can easily manufacture a new saddle mount utilizing a similar set up as this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Practical and easy to install *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2019* With this you will receive:Cage mountBracket2 long bolt4 short bolts2 lock washersAllen wrenchInstructionsAfter removing all of the hardware from the packaging, place the mounting bracket behind the saddle frame. Once you have placed the lock washers on the two long bolts you can use the provided allen wrench to apply the cage mount to the bracket. Be sure align the bolt properly to prevent cross threading.The 4 shorter bolts are for the cages which are not included with the mount, so be prepared to purchase a set if you do not already have a pair. Now, on my bike I already have 4 bolts for cages that came with it, but what I decided to do since they require a different size allen wrench was to use the ones that came with the mount. That way It makes it a little easier to work on, already knowing I only need one sized allen wrench to work on this mount.This product is very basic and simple,I knew what to expect when i purchased the product and it met my expectations. 1 detail that I did not notice before this was installed was that it isn't completely vertical when its attachment. The problem with that is how close the cage and bottle are to the saddle. When riding the bike, I noticed that my lower back side is slightly rested against the cage which is a little annoying and distracting.I did find a few other options for this concept but believe this is the most practical for price and design. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not what it should be *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2012* I purchased this bottle cage holder for it's simple design and the two cage capability. There are several other reviews which mention the weak or cheap bracket quality. Here is the issue. The Minoura cage frame itself is well made and looks nice. The WEAK link is the bracket that the cage frame gets screwed to. I snugged the bolts enough that the cage frame would not rattle in place and then mounted my two bottle cages to the cage frame. The first time I put a test bottle in and out of the cage the mounting bracket broke. It is a low quality metal that is stamped into it's shape and therefore weakened at the creases, which are right in alignment with the threaded bolt holes. My bracket broke straight through the center of a bolt hole and all the way through so that it was in two pieces. Junky design.I manufactured my own bracket from some metal I purchased at the hardware store. Added some high quality stainless bolts and lock nuts and my cage frame now looks professionally made and is sturdy. You can pick up my bike by this now and it will support the weight of my bike. My design is simple and strong. It's a shame I had to waste 1.5hrs of my time to go to the hardware store and in making the new bracket for the cage frame. I liked the cage frame enough that I wanted to give it a shot. Additionally, my first triathlon of the season is next Sunday and I didn't want to chance it with an exchange because I'm certain the bracket on a second new unit would do exactly the same thing.Buy this if you want a simple looking bottle cage mount. But only do so if you plan to make your own mounting bracket to use in place of the one you paid for.
