The Xbox Live Controller Cable, otherwise known as the Xbox Live Chat Cable, is used to connect the Xbox 360 controller to the MixAmp Pro via the 2.5mm jack. When used with the A50, it connects to the headset itself, not the transmitter. This cable comes included in all A50, A40, A30 Audio Systems, as well as the MixAmp Pro.

Review: Major disappointment in astro - Partially my fault. This is a 2.5mm x 2.5mm cable. If you look at what it says, and the website, this is what you are supposed to use to connect a mixamp pro to an Xbox controller. Downside is, neither are 2.5mm. Prdered 2 adapter cables to hope it works. Otherwise, this cable appears to be of terrible quality and should sell for $4, not almost $20. Really disappointed in astro for not making a direct fit cable for an Xbox 1 controller to the mixamp pro, or making it so difficult that it is impossible to find. Would love to have chat and audio work from the controller to the amp. Pretty simple concept, especially since most have their Xbox far from where they actually play.

**Q: I lost my the cable that goes from my headset to the amp, is this the replacement?**
A: There is a cable that connects to the amp from your headset, it actually connects under the left earphone, and no this is unfortunately not what you're looking for.

**Q: Will this work with me turtle beach xl1 headset**
A: Yes it will, as long as the ends fit to your needs.

**Q: Is this 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable and does it support headset and mic transfer?**
A: Yes and yes. You no longer need it with the A40 TR,  but for older A40's you need that with the Xbox one chat adapter.

**Q: Do you need this for xbox one?**
A: You don't really need it unless you have A50s. Even than, you will need an 2.5 female to 3.5 male adapter since Xbox1 controllers have a 3.5 jack and the chat cable is a 2.5

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Astro A50s on XB1 and XB360

So, I've had this cable for a while now... I.and it's awesome. I use it for my XB1 with the help of my 2.5 to 3.5 adapter that came with the stereo adapter for XB1. Works perfectly well, it's longer than the regular chat cable they provided me with on my Halo A50s edition that connects to the XB1 controller. I purchased an Optical Cable to connect to my Xbox 360 so I use my Audio and Chat with both my Xbox 360 and Xbox1 I just unplug the optical I have in my XB1 and connect the one from my XB360
