I have gone through so many brands and have been disappointed with the texture or how they cook uneven leaving the center powdery or hard. I read through some of the reviews for these pearls and decided we would give it one more shot before giving up on making boba at home. We get the package and it looks like every other one. It claims you can make the boba in like 5 minutes and from my past experience this is not true but okay, ill give it a shot. She follows the directions adds a little sugar or honey to the water and sure enough, it makes the perfect boba. Just like the boba that you get in your drink at your favorite boba shop. I will only buy this brand from now on. Being non toxic (to an extent, since it still contains some dyes that I don't like) it works great for the kids to play with as water beads. I have tried other ones for making bubble tea at home and they had a weird, dry texture. These came out perfectly. I of course love them because they are colorful too! It makes drinking bubble tea a little more fun! I would recommend only making the amount you need and then storing the rest in an airtight container.
