We found these that are steel and decided to buy them. A couple weeks ago we went camping along the same river that the previous oar broke and we were able to test these out and they worked great! The length is perfect both for when I inserted them into the par holders on the raft and when I used them outside of the holders. We floated about 5-6 miles and had multiple times where the river was a little low and we needed to use the oar to help push over the river bottom as well as times where we had to use the oars as a tool to keep from running into the sides of the river or longs/branches. The oars did great. They are very sturdy and held up without an issue. I’d highly recommend these as a great quality and low cost option.
