After a few uses in VR Apps, I decided to watch some side by side 3d movies. The experience was less then pleasing. It seemed to blur laterally. I had to hold the right lens slightly upward and the left lens slightly downward in order to get a clear picture. Also the Dive viewer started to get painful on my cheek bones. I found I had to rest them right at the top of my cheek bones to see clearly and this resulted in pain discomfort. A great fix would be a top strap like on Oculus. I am looking foreword to a future with VR apps and games will change the industry ,but right now I think $80 is a bit to high for something you can make out of cardboard. The Dive is OK, the demos are almost great, and the possibilities are endless, but if you want to make something great you should try harder. Case and point: I bought a pair of riding goggles for $10 and the cushioning foam felt like a dream. I can wear them all day, forget i have them on even. My point is Durovis Dive is more like a beta. Wait 6 months and phone and case makers will be rolling these out like hot cakes. (and before i forget, both lenses where chipped and seem to be made of plastic.)
