One can does go along way in fact I had a little left over which I intend to use for another project (will need to order another of course) The primer was very easy to clean off the roller and the brush I used for the edge, its been months since I completed the project and the primer has been perfect, in fact I left the underneath in the great as it looked really good and with the led lights it reflects it better.
