Review: Great, but handle screw not long enough! - I bought this case, like most other people, for use as a testbench. I liked the fact that I could disassemble it, and its compact nature. Unlike many others, I thought the instructions were well-written. Once built, the case is very solid, and use of the PSU as a counterweight results in a centre of gravity right over the handle. However, to my disappointment I discovered that the handle screws are too short! The problem is that the aluminium rail flanges prevent the head of the screw from lying flush with the holes - and hence a lot of the screw's length is wasted. Consequently, the amount of screw length left isn't enough to grab the thread of the handle (See attached pictures for reference.) Obviously this isn't a product killer - I'm just going to go and buy a couple of slightly longer screws, no big deal. But still, I do wish it came together without any such surprises. Otherwise, the case is well designed for its application, and has clearly had some thinking put into it. £70 is a lot to spend on some standard aluminium rails, but considering someone did the design for me, I think it's just about worth that price. (Strangely, the black model is £100 - I think that is far too much for this product. For that reason I went for the red-coloured one.) Note: Atleast in my kit, the handle was evidently purchased from another retailer. This is evident from the fact that it comes in its own packaging, and its own company brand. Perhaps I just got an unlucky batch where a different handle vendor was selected, who happened to supply slightly shorter screws.
Review: Not with the money - Really didn't Iike this although not difficult it's quite fiddly to assemble. Far to expensive for what it is. The grub screws are difficult to tighten with the Allen key provided should have a screwdriver handle and be careful not to overtighten. The mother board holes will not always align as they can only be in a straight line. The fixings for the motherboard need to be left loose so they can slide to the correct position. Nowhere for cd rom or ssd. A decent case is cheaper and I wish I had just purchased a proper test bed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DIY Open PC Case
*by J***S on 27 March 2023*

I bought this as the basis for a larger PC case made from 2020 aluminium extrusion. This review reflects that. I found that aligning the motherboard standoffs were the hardest part. My advice would be to find the specifications for a ATX/M-ATX/ITX motherboard and start with positioning standoffs into 260mm extrusion. For ATX, I measured from the end of the extrusion to the middle of the standoff post. For the PCI slot side, I used two of 260mm extrusion pieces and placed standoffs at 10mm, 165mm and 237.5mm. For the single 260mm extrusion, CPU side, the first position is different: 33mm, 165mm and 237.5mm. The B mounting hole, is no longer required, but you could compromise the rest of your case, and use the fourth piece of 260mm extrusion - and then wonder why your motherboard doesn't have a hole for it. If you care, the exact values are 10.16mm, 165.1mm, 237.49mm and 33.02mm because Intel measures everything from the A-hole, in inches. Once done, this should align one edge of your motherboard with the ends of the extrusion. I then used an old ATX motherboard to align everything else. There were spare nuts and bolts, although I don't recommend losing any. Trust me, you don't want lost and unaccounted small metal items around when building a PC. The shortest piece of extruded aluminium is 140mm, the standard depth of a PSU. Except for the acrylic fan mount, I used almost all of the stuff supplied. You could also source your own bits, but this, although minimal, is a nicely sourced and complete kit.
