I haven't had them long, but each cap has 2 LEDs and uses a rechargeable AA battery to power the lights, they're not super bright but they do add for nice ambiance to our deck. I can't say for how long they will last, but I do like how the battery is replaceable, and I'm assumming that any rechargeable AA will work.They come with adapters to fit multiple poles, but out of the box they fit directly onto a 5x5. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright choice! *by B***I on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 6, 2016* The lights arrived promptly and were very easy to install even though I used the adapter for my five inch post.
