He has some off and on Windows experience but isn't super interested in new tech. He's only had to use tech toward the end of his career. He's very smart but very oldschool. Bottom line, this book was a great investment, for him and later for me. I thought the Chromebook would collect dust but he uses it every day for utilitarian things like recipes and email. He read the book cover to cover and consults it periodically. I'm more of a mac guy so it was an interesting read for me too.
