The gum was extremely dry, brittle, cracked, and fell apart when opened. The pieces can be chewed to a softer consistency but some pieces had a bitter taste. We tried 4 packets and ended up throwing away all of the gum. It is a quality tin. Love the raised design of the "CLOVE" and the boy! Will definitely keep the tin for other gum.
