I like how the people involved seemed to be having fun with the project. This is a great book for looking at the card's artwork. This is not a reading type of book. Its more like a picture book for adults. I also liked the book is small, not big oversized like those coffee table picture book. its like eight inches tall so it fits on a shelf with no problem. For $20, I thought it might be 8 x 10, but this compact size is practical and good enough for such a cool book of illustrations. I still remember being a kid going to the retail deli or stores and being excited to see what new Garbage Pail Kids cards I got that time, sorting through them while eating the brittle piece of cheap, plain bubble gum that was included. The cards were always top quality with excellent illustrations of lots of imaginative, creative and comical characters meant to be offensive in a variety of styles, which made them even funnier and more valuable to collect. This book captures that fun in each page illustration (though you don't get to read the back of the cards).
