I just like that you don't have to wonder what blends well and what essential oils are used for uplifting compared to calming, etc. For example, it states for foot baths, formulas for relaxing versus for rejuvenating, It is not a big book, but a good one to have for easy reference when you just want to whip up something without having to read through a bunch of stuff. In the back of the book, it has each essential oil listed with the scent and the uses. This has some basic info on a lot of oils, a very basic aromatherapy overview and the rest is recipes for all kinds of things. A lot of teh recipes call for some essential oils that are not common or I never heard of, but they do offer int eh front some substitutions for certain oils.
