Básicamente una joya, y complementado con el volumen 2 sobre teoría clásica de campos y el volumen 4 sobre electrodinámica cuántica, ofrecen un tratamiento extensivo de la teoría electromagnética bastante al día. Man sieht, dass die Autoren das physikalische Material gut durchdacht haben, und den Weg zur Quintessenz gut belegen. Ich betrachte diese Bücher als einen Schatz und lese darin, wie manche vielleicht in einem guten Roman.
