This summer was extremely dry , windy and hot. Lightening started grass fires in our area. One particular fire, with the high winds headed a finger of a fire straight to our headquarters. One of the rural fire stations had some Barricade on his truck, but had never used it, so we were the first to have it sprayed on our houses. Luckily the fire was stopped at a county road close by. Due to fire danger all around, the Barricade was left on the houses for 4 weeks as a preventative measure. I thing to note, it dries, but when water hits it, it changes back to a sticky and very slick, slime like substance and was still the same after 4 weeks when we pressure washed it off. This is a very good product to have on hand in case of wild fires. I purchased more to have on hand. 1 1/2 gallons covered the 72 ft side of 1 house and 30 ft side of another besides the yards.
