It is constructed using a co-molded design that uses both rigid and tactile materials, impact-dispersing Crumple Zone corner construction to achieve maximum drop protection. Brenthaven designers focused on the functionality of the Surface device, ensuring that the Kickstand and other features of the Surface are all fully functional when the Edge is installed. The Edge meets military drop standard MIL-STD-810G; drop-tested and thermal-tested by certified third-party labs. Backward-compatible with Surface Pro 4.
