The chains are super sharp and last a good while if under professional use. However the bars fade and paint peels and they do not oil well. Bars heat up and the finish cannot take the wear and tear. Overall it is an excellent combination if just light and occasional use but production cutting and tree work is mid grade equipment ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked well for "Sawmill" - to slice a few boards using Stihl Farmbos MS290 *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2022* I had to change the sprocket from .325 to 3/8 pitch but they sell sprockets also here on Amazon. Easy to swap sprockets - just one clip. I used with one of those cheep chainsaw mill jig things that run down a 2x4 you attach to the top of the log. Did a nice 10' log of hardwood cherry into boards for living shelf or perhaps an epoxy table.I was able to get 4 cuts out of each blade then it needs sharpening. Each cut took me about one tank of gas, so that's about the same I get with other blades. Rip cuts take some time. Going to drop the cut angle on the blades to 10deg as others tell me that's better for sawmill use.
