I was only using a 15 kg weight on it at the time. I have contacted the seller who has advised that even though it is less than a year old, it is out of warranty!! and that I should source the part locally. I was happy to pay for a replacement pad but was not even offered that option. Very disappointed with the seller. I do not think this would be suited to a 5 - 6ft bar due to the distance between the collars and the plate holders at the back are 1" so you will need the Olympic 2" adapters easily sourced on here.DB holders are great and come in very handy and the bench is very comfortable to use.
