It does do the job, but I wish they had a sturdier base for it. It was fine when it was all up, but it seems a little wobbly. Wouldn't want to have it in a main area, I fell like if you have animals or small children it could be easily knocked over. Not a very good idea. It took hours to pull the branches out and "fluff" them. In the process many, many of the needles fell off and continue to fall off. I would have had less mess with a real tree.
