I take it up to 10000 grit. Some stop at a lower grit. I then use several car polishing compounds’, once again from more texture to less. My final act is to use a car wax and buff it out. It’s time consuming, but I like the final results. **Q: Will this work on a mosaic table (grouted, waterproofed glass tiles) ?** A: It should; my concern would be small particles of the grout floating around in the resin. Possibly an initial coat of tabletop resin to seal everything and then do the deep pour. **Q: Does this epoxy adhere to metal?** A: What type of metal are you using? Metal is tricky because it will expand and contract at a different rate which could cause the epoxy to pull away from the surface over time. **Q: I'm pouring 2" deep in 3 pours to 'float' a product. Do I mix 3 separate batches or refrigerate until other layers gel?** A: This would require 3 separate pours. Please allow the prior layer to cure (can take 48+ hours) before applying the next layer. ## Frequently Bought Together - Promise Epoxy Deep Pour Epoxy Resin Kit 3 Quart - Food Safe, Clear Casting, Ideal for River Tables, Artistic Castings and DIY Projects - High-Gloss Finish, Up to 4" Pouring Depth - USA-Made, Low Odor - Epoxy Resin Kit 1 Gallon-Crystal Clear, UV Resistant, Self Leveling, Food Safe for Table Top, Arts and Crafts, Wood Casting, Jewelry Making, Use with Mica Powder, Silicone Molds, Alcohol Ink - Rolio Premium Mica Powder Pearlescent Color Pigment - Art Set for Epoxy Resin - for Soap Making, Nail Polish, Lip Gloss, Eye Shadow, Slime & Candle Jars - 10g, 24 Jars - (Original Set) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/167001336-promise-epoxy-deep-pour-epoxy-resin-kit-3-quart-up](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/167001336-promise-epoxy-deep-pour-epoxy-resin-kit-3-quart-up) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
