Goes in about 3/4 of the way so not stable at all. **Q: Does this work for a rtic or yeti 30oz tumbler and does it keep it secure enough?** A: It 8s 3 inches high, 3 1/2 inches at the top and about 3 1/4 in he's at the bottom. My auto's cup holder inside diameter is 3 5/32 inch. The bottom section of the Gadjits Cup Keeper outside diameter tapers from 2 5/8 to 2 1/2 inch. It fit loose in my cars holder and was top heavy with cups with handles or large drinks. My first thought was to add weight (quikrete?) inside the holders hollow bottom section for stabilization. However a better and easier solution: Cut a small piece of foam / pipe insulation and tape it to the outside of the holders bottom section. It only has to be a small piece aprox 3 X 4 1/2 inch. It should be longer than the bottom section of the Gadjits and extend to bottom of your auto's holder (for leverage). It does not (and probably should not) wrap all the way around the cup holder. A scrap piece of 3/4 inch pipe foam insulation from a hardware/yellow box store ($1 for a 3 foot section) and black plastic electrical tape works perfect. This allows holder to be held firmly in place but easily removed and reinserted with no damage to car -- and it will NOT tip over OR out of auto's holder with a large drink or cup with handle.
