WiFi driver wasn't supported/just didn't work, so I bought an adapter from a generic brand which did not work at all, even with my computer. I then purchased this one, and it worked right out of the box! No configuring, just plug-and-play! My only complaint would be that the status LED is too bright, but that's an easy fix with a small patch of opaque tape. Highly recommend! My intention was to turn it into an octoprint server for 3D printing, but my wifi router is on the other end of the house. I figured I would have to download something to make it work, but even with a very very old install of raspbian it worked practically out of the box! I believe the dongle even came with instructions, but by just using the GUI interface, i was able to configure it. Even shortly after I started installing octoprint and having the installation destroy my raspbian install (!!!), I was able to get the dongle configured on a newly flashed Octoprint SD card with a little more effort.
