These rewards have been broken up into three different categories, known as Strike Packages: Assault - Pointstreaks within this package chain together and deal direct damage. It includes classics like the Predator Missile and Attack Helicopter. Your streak resets on death.Support - Pointstreaks within this package do not chain, focusing instead on surveillance and disruption. Earn experience and rank up with the newly implemented progression system. The higher the rank, the more weapons, air support, and gear armories you will have available to customize so you can change your tactics on the fly. In addition to the action packed battle for freedom, the cooperative Survival Mode also serves as an effective training tool for competitive multiplayer action. MWF3 is Amazing!!!

*by S***9 on Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2011*

If your thinking about buying Modern Warfare 3 then GO Ahead and Buy It!!! I just finished the Campaign today and it is the Best Game of all time! Every chapter of the Campaign has its own Amazing Moments... This game is Epic, multiplayer is also Amazing, its more of the multiplayer gameplay that everyone loves (besides most Battlefield players) except it has all new maps weapons and New awesome gameplay modes. I have played Battlefield Bad Co and Bad Co. 2 and I preordered and played Battlefield 3 and I was excited to to have 2 Amazing games (Battlefield 3 and MWF3) coming out this year, with all the Hype that went out for both of these games I thought we were going to have some awesome new games to play. Then When I got Battlefield 3 and played through it I was very dissapointed that the game was actually put together rather horribly. I was mad to play through and find that they copied Call of Duty Black Ops campaign style with the interogation and then you go through and play the flashback. And the story was just Bad and very plain. I was mad that I was led to believe it was going to be fun and on par with MWF3 and I was pissed that I wasted my $60 on Battlefield 3... (and I liked playing Bad Co.2) But on to MWF3... the campaign was amazing and like I said multiplayer online is very fun with the new play styles, I was very happy to see that they brought back the training pit with the pop up targets - which was always fun. If you have liked any Call of Duty game before or if you liked playing Battlefield and was let down by the newest Battlefield game, then go ahead and get MWF3 because it is one of the best games for the Xbox360 to date and you will not be sorry. I believe the Hardened Edition is worth it, I think there will be alot of DLC available often from Activision which is why I think you will make the money back just with DLC - Now just because I bought the Hardened Edition for $100 doesnt mean I was happy that I have to pay $100 just for the game, I also do not like the fact that You pay for a game and then they "come out" with another map or something like a week later and make you pay more money for something that they already had ready before they even gave the game out... and I especially dont like paying $100 on a single game... I am just saying that because they are coming out with DLC anyways and a bunch of people if not most people are going to buy them.. then I may as well buy the hardened edition that comes with all DLC that comes out for the game, I dont have to worry about finding different packages later and paying for stuff often, I will automatically get all of the DLC (that they should give us anyway when we buy the game) and in the end we should actually save money becuase of all of the different DLC that is supposed to come out monthly from what they said. Now if they dont come out with DLC Monthly then I am going to be pissed that they lied to us. I remember when they used to make a game and give you the entire game when you bought it, now they give you most of the game and charge you more for the rest of it!! Which isnt right. And Finally... then you have the people that say Dont Buy MWF3 and lets show Activision that they cant make us pay A ton more money then the already $60 that we already pay and the stupid DLC that we have to pay for as well, and now we have to pay for a Internet Site to go along with the game.... and all I have to say about that is that that will never happen and everybody knows it... Yes We would all like to do that and show Activision that we wont pay freaking $100 dollars for a stupid game every year... but not enough people would do it to have any effect. Everyone still wants to play their game so even though we dont want to pay 100, we will still do it because there are no better games then the MWF, MWF2 and MWF3.. Now Black Ops was a step backwards. The only reason why it was the highest selling game when it came out was because everyone thought because MWF2 was so good that Black Ops was going to be good as well, but they went a step back when they should have came out with MWF3. Now We Would all like Activision and all of the game developers to stop coming out with a new game every year, and take 2 years to come out with something amazing! If they put more time into the games then they would seriously be amazing. But Activision does want that freaking Billion dollars every year so that is highly unlikely! All in all MWF3 Was Amazing unlike some Reviews have said, it really had Very Amazing scenes in every Chapter, the only game to likely give it a run for its money is Tom Clancys Future Soldier - hopefully it is going to be as good as they are saying it is going to be!! PLEASE Come out with a MWF4 or at least continue with games in this time period or near future, we really do not want anymore WW2 or Vietnam games Although We Are Very Greatful to Everyone who Sacraficed for Us to Keep our World and our Country Great!!! (and buying games from Amazon is allways a Great idea, especially since you get them delivered on Opening Day!! so you do not have to go anywhere or wait in line!! Thanks Amazon for the Amazing Service!)

    Still the best FPS around.

*by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2011*

I've played all COD versions since the very first. Each release has generally been slightly better than the last--especially since Treyarch has been forced to use the Infinity Ward gameplay engine. Prior to that the Treyarch releases weren't all that great.MultiplayerFirst the PROs:1. Graphics moderately improved over prior versions particularly in attention to detail and apparent rendering speed.2. Gameplay is very smooth--this has obviously been a design goal of the IW CoD team from the beginning and it shows.3. New perks and for the most part the perks are chosen to maximize competition--no set of perks is overpowering in all theaters.4. Host migration has worked every time--no drops back to the lobby--so far, at least.5. New and in my opinion improved kill streak rewards--especially the break into two sections, Assault and Support with Assault being very similar to prior versions and Support totally new.======Now the 'nits'--those things that aren't really a CON but are definitely something that can be improved upon.1. Gameplay smoothness too much of a priority over "What You See Is What You Get". By this I mean that the programmers seem to have sacrificed accuracy of the simulation for smoothness. This results in minor "He isn't where I see him" situations.2. The 'run' button, by default a press of the left stick (LS) joystick, is not always checked when changing the position of the joystick. This can result in dropping out of sprint with the button still pressed or not going into sprint when you begin a movement with the button already pressed. I don't know if this is a limitation of the XBox controller system or an inattention to detail by the programmers. If possible the status of the sprint button should be checked anytime a movement is initiated with the joystick and it apparently isn't.3. No individual audio level controls. I would really like to have the special effects, i.e. explosions, game generated audio (not the chat channel), gunfire, etc. separated out. With my Astro 40s the explosions are far too loud in relation to other sounds. I would like the ability to lower FX volume without lowering the sound of footsteps for example.4. The times one gets 'stuck' on something in the area without seeing it in their 'peripheral vision'. For example, I sometimes get stuck on a small piece of debris--one that would normally slide out of the way if hit by your foot. Some things are designed to be moved out of the way by player movement, but a lot aren't when they should be. This has improved from prior versions, but I still think there is room for improvement.5. Pulling the internet connection still results in a drop back to the lobby. It is really frustrating to be playing well in a match and have the host 'pull the plug' causing the game to immediately exit to the lobby. It would be great if Microsoft/Game developers could find a way to rectify or at least reduce this.6. The amount of time needed to level up to the max level before prestige keeps increasing. Eighty levels! Don't be ridiculous--65 is plenty.======Now the CON--the only thing I really don't like about CoD:MW3:As in Black Ops the network bandwidth leveling code, i.e. that code that attempts to level the playing field with respect to ping times often (but not always) greatly favors those with a slow internet connection. I had a 50M down and 30M up fiber connection and in 90% of my games the enemy was always a second or two ahead of me, .e. I died from their gunfire before I actually saw them come around the corner. In 10% of my games the situation was reversed. I would come around the corner and have up to two seconds to fire before the 'enemy' began firing and this was against players that I know are quicker than I.I had my ISP lower my internet speed to 15M down and 5M up and the situation is slightly better. I would say that in 75% of my games I am at a disadvantage. That still leaves a quarter of my matches being 'fun' rather than frustrating--enough to keep me playing MW3 online.I know that part of the problem is geographic--i.e. it is not all internet speed related--so the situation will never be perfect with today's internet topography but those with faster internet should not be hobbled by game code as they apparently are.
