Threw tennis balls, tried to reach with gyroscopic tree-cutting poles, nothing worked, and before I got the climbing harness and said my prayers, I thought I'd try a slingshot. This was 9 bucks, I got a bag of clay pellets, and parked in a chair at the base of the tree. Took about 38 shots, and clacked the thing out of the tree like clockwork. Like Clackwork, in fact. It doesn't have sights or screw-in bands, but this isn't a rifle, it's a slingshot.
