In that capacity, I'm very pleased with it. The bottom and side Arca style plates mate nicely with my tripod head and hold firm. The screw in the bottom of the grip to attach to the 1/4x20 mount in the bottom of the camera is an allen head screw for which a wrench is included. Additionally the screw is slotted so it would be possible to install or remove with a coin. The plate does not interfere with the strap mounts on the camera nor any operation of the camera.As a grip the feel is nice and adds much needed purchase to the right hand in this small bodied camera (X-T20 for me). The one draw back here is that it does force your fingers ever so slightly into the lens. Being a small camera to begin with, adding a grip is bound to do that but now I understand why some other grips have a smaller protrusion here. Also, a small bit of rubber or texture on the front side would have been nice. I think once it gets hot ans hands get a little moist, this may not feel quite so secure.Overall I'm happy with it as a mount for tripod photography and would purchase again for that use. It's also useful as a grip though if you have large hands (mine are more medium) you might feel a little cramped at the finger tips. As is, I'll still likely use it as a grip as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality *by R***B on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2020* Wish I'd bought one with a rubberized grip.One gripe it that the rails on the bottom of the grip for mounting the camera in a landscape orientation will not allow attaching to the Arca clamp from either end of the grip. You can only insert the grip from the LH side, you cannot insert from the opposite side where the handgrip bump out is located. I like that it has a "grip" on the front making it easier to hold the camera since the X-T20 is quite small. Seems well built. I also like that it provides access to the battery door on the bottom of the camera so I don't need to remove it to change batteries or memory cards.
