I tried to use another glue but the knob was too heavy and kept falling off. The Scotch glue worked like a charm. First of all, it didn't get all over the knob like the other glue. Second, it took about sixty seconds and the knob adhered and did not break off. I glued my hand to the tube but that's okay I was able to get free. I also had a craft project for my deceased Mom and the glue worked on delicate materials without clumping up. The tube is so small though. I used one entire tube on both the knob and the craft. This is really good stuff but be careful, I got it on my laptop and my hand.
